I don't grovel :) But I also don't have huge issues with the power imbalance. I just want everyone to be polite, and that includes the authors. That's when I get frustrated...when there's needless jerking around.
I do think it doesn't hurt anyone to make the podfic but it should behoove us to interact with the author without BP if we archive it somewhere,...Allison reminded me of that difference yesterday, and I think it's a good one to make...
